Introduction

The Cascade Classic is a girl's high school basketball tournament held each year during the school break between Christmas and New Years.  It is hosted by the City of Sammamish and the two great High Schools within its borders, Eastlake and Skyline.  It features up to sixteen teams, half from the state of Washington, and half from around North America.  In the past, we have had teams participating from Alberta and British Columbia in Canada, as well as California, Alaska, Oregon, and Arizona from the United States.  Each team is guaranteed four games.

The Cascade Classic is about a lot more than just basketball.  We feature a Banquet, a Skills Contest, The Brain Game, and several special events for the participants.  See This Year's Schedule for complete information.

Mission Statement

The Cascade Classic Girl's Basketball Tournament's focus is to inspire young women to pursue a path of academic, athletic and social excellence.  We hope that the pursuit of these ideals will allow these women to become outstanding leaders in their communities and professions, while becoming role models for another generation of young women.
